So, there I laid on Sunday morning. Sick and seriously illing. Wouldnt't you know it, I had a miserable case of food poisoning from the night before. I have a feeling that nervousness played a role in my ailing, but either way, it wasn't a great way to start out a long vacation.

Monday morning rolled around before I knew it and John was already at my house, ready to take me to the airport (thanks John!). 3+ hours later, I was on the ground in Phoenix and meeting up with Eric for our flight to Seattle. The trip had officially begun. No turning back now!

Seattle: Really cool town. If I wasn't still ailing from Saturday evening's bad sushi, I may have been able to enjoy it more. Regardless, we got to take a stroll through the city and take in some of the local sites/culinary offerings.

Vancouver: I love this town. Great food and kind people. Asian food probably wasn't the best choice for cuisine, but at least I was able to enjoy this town a bit more than Seattle.
