In 2015, Huge was selected to be SK-II's digitial innovation partner with a focus on driving growth in China, Japan, Korea and the United States. At the outset, one of the key challenges was how to tackle the redesign of a website that is highly localized to each individual market it serves. Huge worked closely with SK-II over the course of two years to support its transition from an outdated legacy website infrastructure to a streamlined, robust and scalable site—capable of better serving the needs of its user base throughout Asia and beyond.

————— A COMPLETE EVOLUTION
As an extension of the website design process, Huge led a broad effort to generate compelling new assets for the site. Old and new products were rendered in 3D with our oversight and we photographed product textures that represented their 30+ product catalog. "How to" video content and abbassador imagery was also developed to ensure the site felt fresh and relevant to a younger demographic.
Additionally, Huge developed a digital design library that documented key strategic decisions the experience design team made throughout the redesign process. Prototypes were made for all key pages and components, and a refreshed typographic system and color palette streamlined the new aesthetic for the development team and SK-II's regional offices.
